

Elizabeth was born on February 1, 1935 in New York City to Andrew and Sarah (Ambrose) Hann. She married Alfred Seminerio in Patterson, New Jersey in 1953 and would later divorce. Elizabeth married Ernie Martinez in Watsonville, California.
Elizabeth, known as “Nana” to her friends and family was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and raising roses, doing crosswords and was a great bingo player. Nana won bags of stuffed animals playing bingo and donated them the Bags of Love in Weld County for children.
Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernie and a sister Sally O’Brien. She is survived by two sons: Alfred Seminerio and wife Cheryl Blaylock of Mead, CO and Andrew Seminerio and wife Janet of Watsonville, CA, and her daughter Sue MacDonald and husband Ron of Mead. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Krista and Phillip Seminerio, Richard Booth, Lauren Joseph and husband George, Danica Robles and husband Scott, Dominic Mejia and wife Shelly Martinez, and Rowdy Hixenbaugh; and eleven great grandchildren: Lilly, Isabella, Conner, Zander, Brittany, Elias, Serena, Marco, Andrew, Mateo, and Ariana. Her first husband, Alfred Seminerio of Watsonville, CA also survives her.
Visitation will be held at Howe Mortuary on Thursday, March 10 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary at 4:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Mead with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Berthoud.
