Aynes, Ellen M. age 85, of Edina died on December 12 in Longmont, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Erman, granddaughter Dedra Ellen Moore, son-in law Rodney Shriver, brothers Russell, Floyd, and Roy, sister Velree. Survived by daughters Susan Shriver, Donna (Michael) Brown, Kathy (Owen) Thomas; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Ellen served in the Air Force from 1944 - 1946, She will be remembered for her 40 years of service at First Christian Church in the Handcrafters, as well as her love of sewing and spending time with her family. Private interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorial service will be at First Christian Church on December 17 at 10:00 at 2201 1st Avenue South, Minneapolis. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Mountain Valley Hospice, Windsor Colorado. Arrangements are handled by Washburn-McReavy 952-920-3996.
