Enid Arlene McGraw, 95, of Denver, Colorado died July 27, 2020 at her home. She was born October 22, 1924 in Alamosa, Colorado to Freda Loma (McChesney) and George Earl Otten. Following her high school graduation, she went on to business school. Arlene was a devoted and loving wife, mother and homemaker. She and her husband, Bill McGraw, owned and operated the McGraw Printery in downtown Denver for 32 years.
On August 4, 1946, she married William Eugene McGraw in Pueblo, Colorado. They lived in Macomb, Illinois for their first five years of marriage and then moved to Denver in 1951. Arlene lived in the same home for 69 years.
She loved reading, gardening, mountain drives in Colorado and playing card games. Arlene lived independently until just recently, and will always be remembered for her warm and kind heart.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her son Greg McGraw (Vivian) of Mt. Hope, KS and her daughters Judy Dersch (Rusty) of Lakewood, CO; Dianna Sautter (Howard) of Loveland, CO and Janet Brothers (Greg) of Denver, CO. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother George Earl Otten, Jr.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel in Longmont.
