

Ethel H. True of Longmont, died August 30 at Hospice Care Center, Louisville. She was 92.Ethel was born in Watertown, South Dakota to Peter P. and Louise Lindner on December 31, 1915. Ethel married Lawrence A. True on December 20, 1941 in Sturgis, S.D. They remained in Watertown until 1962, at which time the family moved to Denver and later to Longmont in 1966. Ethel devoted her life to being a homemaker for her husband and children. She also worked at Foothills Nursing Home for several years before retiring.Ethel was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, brothers Edward, Peter, Donald, and Robert Lindner, her sister Evelyn Klucas and grandson Marty True.Surviving are a daughter Jean Rogge and friend Darrell Rogge of Longmont and a son Thomas True and his wife Gloria of Longmont; brothers Clifford and Darrell Lindner, sisters Dorothy Ostrander and Leona Cordell; grandchildren Shawn True and Aaron Rogge; and great grandchildren Cameron, Cara, Ryan, Nathaniel and Ciera.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 5, at the Howe Mortuary Chapel, with Chaplain Bob Ritzen officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.Contribution may be made to the Hospice of Boulder and Broomfield Counties, 2594 Trailridge Drive East, Lafayette, CO 80026.
