Eugene R Kreibich

Eugene R. (Gene ) Kreibich passed away June 14, 2014. He was born to Arthur and Lavina Kreibich on November 13, 1951 in Washington D.C. His family moved to Colorado in 1957 and to Longmont in 1958 where he attended Longmont schools. He graduated from Longmont High School in 1969. He enlisted in the United States Air Force after high school and served from 1969 to 1973. He was a retired air traffic controller and worked at the Longmont ARTCC until his retirement in 2002. Currently he worked in the instruction of new air traffic controllers in Longmont.

He married Linda Zoller in 1970 in Berthoud. Together they welcomed daughter, Erin.

Gene is survived by his wife, Linda, daughter, Erin and her husband, Dennis Ross and their sons, Ethan, Justin and Matthew. He is further survived by sisters, Carin and husband Art Kent and Janet and her husband Reg White. Many nieces and nephews and other family members will miss his caring and loving ways.

An open house and a time to celebrate Gene's life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Howe Mortuary
