

Eva Rademacher, 89, of Longmont, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Wellspring in Louisville.Eva was born November 2, 1917 in Sterling, Colorado, to John and Mabel (Kloberdanze) Steinbach. She grew up in Longmont.On November 19, 1940, Eva married Albert Rademacher in Longmont where the family made their home. She was very active with Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church and had been a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed homemaking and her farm.She is survived by two sons: James Rademacher and his wife Gloria of Estes Park, and Raymond Rademacher and his wife, Carol, of Longmont; four daughters: Alberta Baker and her husband, George, of Lakewood, Mary Jane Ross and her husband, Leon, of Longmont, Joann Rademacher of Seattle, Washington, and Patricia Walters and her husband, Gene, of Oakridge, North Carolina; and a sister, Mary Ann Rademacher.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on October 28, 1972; a son, Donald Rademacher; and by a sister, Margaret Appelhans.Visitation will be held at Howe Mortuary, Longmont from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 28 at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Reverend Brian Morrow officiating. Interment will be at Foothills Gardens of Memory.Memorials may be made to Wellspring at Louisville or AGAPE Hospice Services.
