

Frances was born on January 21, 1932 in Akron, Ohio to John Beebe and Frances Powell. She graduated from Kent State University and Vanderbilt Teachers College. During her high school and college years she competed in synchronized swimming.
Frances married Jack Huth on November 27, 1953 in Akron, Ohio. The family moved to Boulder in 1964.
Frances was a schoolteacher in Ohio. After moving to Colorado she continued teaching at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School. She later worked as a secretary for Boulder High School, before joining NCAR in Boulder as an administrative assistant.
Frances was a big follower of the Denver Broncos and Rockies. She loved the Colorado mountains, living in the foothills for many years and driving and hiking in them. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. She had a deep affinity for horses and dogs, also care for them on their mountain property. Late in life she maintained a relationship with horses in particular with her daughter on their farm, caring for aging horses who needed a good home.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband.
Surviving are her daughters JoAnne (Steve) Occhiuto of Loveland; Becky Huth (Mark Kulik) of Berthoud; brothers John (Marilyn) Beebe of Pepper Pike, Ohio; Tom (Jan) Beebe of St. Louis, Missouri; a sister Jean Winters of Oxen Hill, Maryland; grandchildren Jason (Hope) Occhiuto and Taryn (Todd) Stesen and great grandchildren A.J., Tori, Tyler, Evangelyn and Taeya.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.
