

Frank Cimino, of Frederick, died August 1, 2006 at his home. He was 66.Frank was born on March 25, 1940 in Greeley, to Frank Sam Cimino and Elmira Grace Carico. Frank and his family moved to Frederick as a young man and graduated from Frederick High School in 1958. He was on both the football and basketball teams.On April 11, 1959, Frank married Thelma Cowan in Denver. They made their home in Frederick. Frank started his own plumbing business in 1964, which he operated until his recent health decline. He also worked as a pipefitter from 1988-1995 at Rocky Flats. Frank served on the Frederick Volunteer Fire Department and the Frederick Sewer Board. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was a member of the Longmont Moose Lodge. Preceding Frank in death were his parents and a grandson Joshua Angelo.Surviving are his wife of Frederick, three daughters, Toni Angelo and her husband Mike of Frederick, Rosemary Horton and her husband Scott of Firestone, and Lisa Cimino of Frederick, two sisters Shirley Pendleton and Marlynn Nelson and her husband Steve both of Firestone; eight grandchildren Stevanna Angelo-Peonio and her husband Rian of Commerce City, Sean Angelo and his wife Vernetta, T.J. Angelo of Frederick, Seth Corder, Kelly, Ashley, and Chelsey Horton, all of Firestone and Justin and Caleb Perry of Frederick, and one great grandson Ladon Angelo of Frederick.A visitation will be held today from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Howe Mortuary.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2006 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel, with Michael Winakur of Grace Place in Berthoud, officiating.
