Gilbert Gallegos

He was a beloved husband & father.

Gilbert moved to Longmont Colorado in 1958 with his wife JoAnn.

Gilbert was employed by Slack Horner foundry in Longmont for 30 years.

He was also employed at Best top in Broomfield Colorado for 12 years before retiring.

Gilbert was quite conversational and have many friends in the community of Longmont.

He also enjoyed walking daily with his dog Paco as well as his grand dog Sawyer.

Gilbert enjoyed his 1968 red Ford pick up with a camper shell and enjoyed taking the family camping and fishing.

He also enjoyed his love for Pueblo Colorado chillies annually.

He enjoyed the rivers and reservoirs of Colorado ,he was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed creating his own fliy’s.

He also had a love for Spanish music.

Gilbert is survived by his wife JoAnn of Longmont & his three daughters.

Debbie (Tom),Patricia (Jody),Vicki (Santo)

7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Private funeral arrangements for family members only and burial will be Thursday at Mountain View cemetery of Longmont.
