Glenys was born on April 1, 1936 in Pennsylvania to Jesse and Elva (Cline) Down. She moved to Millville, PA in 1955 and to Longmont, CO in 1976.
Married Parker Perkins in July 1955 and was blessed with a son Jay in Oct of 1958.
Glenys worked for Neodata in Louisville, CO until her retirement in 1998. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed volunteering at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. Was an avid reader, loved sewing and needlepoint.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lorraine, husband Parker Perkins and their son Jay Perkins.
Glenys is survived by her sister Jeanette and adopted daughter Sherry (husband Bill) Unruh and family.
Glenys will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. A celebration of her life will be held later in the month.
Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
