Grace Virginia Savino

Grace Virginia Savino passed away at her home January 21, 2015. She was 98 years old.Grace was born on August 19, 1916 in Manhattan, New York to Leonard and Crescenza (Morgese) Carlucci. She graduated from Harren High School in Manhattan in 1934.On October 28, 1950 she married Joseph Savino in Toritto, Bari, Italy. Together they moved to Longmont, CO in 1997 from Bellerose Terrace, NY. Grace was a homemaker; she was Nana to family and friends and especially loved activities with her five wonderful grandchildren. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Longmont Senior Center.Grace was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; her parents; three brothers William, Michael, and Felix Carlucci; and two sisters Rose Caccavo and Amelia Monaco.She is survived by her sons Richard R. Savino and Joseph L. Savino and wife Mary; her grandchildren Danielle Savino (Lance Scoggins), Nicholas Savino, Brianna Savino, Angela Savino and Heather Savino.Visitation 12:00-1:00 PM followed by a Funeral service at 1:00 PM Monday January 26, 2015 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
