

Gregg Alan Maul, beloved husband, father and son, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2021 in Longmont, Colorado. He was born on December 29, 1965 in Greeley, Colorado to Robert and Vivian (Asmussen) Maul.
Gregg grew up and attended schools in Longmont, Colorado where he enjoyed playing football. He graduated from Longmont High School in 1984. After graduation, he attended Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado where he earned his degree in physical education and continued to play football. It was during this time he met the love of his life, Lori. They were married on May 18, 1991 in Denver, Colorado. After college graduation he began his golf maintenance career at The Ranch Country Club in Westminster, Colorado. Shortly thereafter, he started working at Sunset Golf Course in Longmont, Colorado and remained there for the rest of his career.
Gregg enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. One of his passions was coaching football. He also had a true love of golf, both playing and maintaining it. Having worked at Sunset Golf Course for 25 years, he knew most of the golfers by name. They loved and appreciated him for keeping the golf course so beautiful.
Gregg is survived by a host of family that includes his devoted wife, Lori Maul; loving daughter, Ashley (David) Barnard of Longmont, Colorado; loving mother Vivian Maul of Longmont, Colorado; siblings Michael Maul of Ft. Lupton, Colorado and Diana Long of Pierce, Colorado; as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends. Gregg was preceded in death by his father, Robert Maul.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Life Bridge Christian Church, 10345 Ute Highway in Longmont, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Contributions payable to The Longmont Golf Club for a Memorial dedicated to the Memory of Gregg Maul. These contributions can be mailed to Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont CO 80501.
