Heather Arenna Sturrock passed away January 28, 2018 at her home in Broomfield. She was 40 years old.Heather was born on January 15, 1978 to Cleon Reggie Carroll and Ann Denson Studwell. Like her mother, she was born on an island but on the northwest coast rather than the gulf coast. She spent her early years in Texas and relocated with her mom to Colorado in late 1983. Heather always considered Colorado her home. She graduated from Heritage High School in 1996. She attended college in Texas and Ft. Lewis in Durango.Heather married Bill Sturrock on Galveston Island in November of 2001. Heather and Bill have two beautiful girls, Ava Ann and Z Renea Sturrock.Heather was a Pharmacy Tech at MCPN, who enjoyed working for them so much that she worked for them twice, in 2003 and 2014.Heather loved music. One of her favorite things to do was going on PHISH adventures with her dear friend Vona and beating to the tune of her own drum. She loved spending time with her sister/cousin Misty doing all sorts of crazy things. She had friends from all over as she had the ability to make friends wherever she went, free spirits always flocked to her. Heather enjoyed trying new things and that involved cooking, food and wine. She enjoyed the outdoors and trips to the Great Sand Dunes and Estes Park. Heather always enjoyed going to the beach and treasured taking her girls to the beach as well. Her last trip was to NOLA to celebrate her 40th birthday with Mom and Ron, cousins Misty and Erica, old friend Matt, and new friends J l and Sarah, it was a celebration for the ages.Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chuck and Nita Denson; and sister, Desiree Carroll.Heather is survived by her children, Ava Ann age 11 and Z Renea age 7; her mother, Ann Studwell; dad, Ron Schuetz; and biological father, Cleon Reggie Carroll.A celebration of life will be held on February 11, 2018 from 2:00-5:00pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 83 E. 120th Ave., Thornton, CO 80233.
