

Heidi Leigh Saylor Hennig, 49, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away Monday, October 2, 2006 at Life Care Center of Longmont. She fought a courageous battle with rheumatoid arthritis for many years.Heidi was born July 4, 1957 in Alhambra, California, to William Wayne and Barbara Jane (Gaskell) Saylor. She moved to Colorado with her family as a young girl, graduating from Erie High School in 1976.On August 6, 1978 she married Rolf D. Hennig at St. Stephen?s Episcopal Church in Longmont. She was a military wife and mother and had lived in several states. After her divorce, she returned to Longmont to focus on raising her three boys. She had worked for AMF Head in Boulder before raising her family. She was a member of St. Stephen?s Episcopal Church and was well developed in creating arts and crafts. Despite her illness, she remained an inspiration to all who knew her and the many people she encountered. She will be deeply missed by everyone.Survivors include her three sons, Christopher Hennig and his girlfriend, April Peterson, of Longmont, Colorado, Nicholas Hennig and his wife, Shana, of Oceanside, California, and Anthony Hennig and his fiancé, Lisa Duran, of Longmont, Colorado; her parents, William and Barbara Saylor of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; her twin brother, Scott Saylor and his wife, Jeanette, of Centennial, Colorado; and a granddaughter, Hallie Hennig, whom she absolutely adored. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews; her former husband, Rolf Hennig of Summerville, South Carolina; and her former in-laws, Horst and Brigitte Hennig of Longmont, Colorado.Heidi was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Guy Saylor.Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Howe Mortuary, Longmont. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2006 at St. Stephen?s Episcopal Church with the Reverend Max Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Ft.
