Hugh E. Shorty Borders of Longmont passed away unexpectedly January 14, 2015 in Denver, CO. He was 72.Mr. Borders was born September 8, 1942 in Louisville, KY to John R. and Eleanor Earl (Wilson) Borders. On December 22, 1969 he married Linda K. Seewald in Longmont. Shorty was a carpenter all his working life and a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force, which he was very proud of.Mr. Borders was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Carey Lynne Borders of Longmont and at the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Linda, who also died suddenly on April 17, 2015.Per Shorty's wishes no services will be held.
