Irene Marie (Cimino) Irwin

She loved her husband George, children Joe (Barbara), Vicki Stonebraker (Jack) and George (Nancy), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and everyone she met became her friend.

She is most noted for working at Lepore’s Italian Restaurant in Firestone as a waitress for 23 years, known for her BIG HAIR. She then went to work at VMI and got her soldering certificate at 60 years old.

She also worked at the Great Western Sugar Factory in Longmont.

Cooking and baking attributed to her family having to constantly watch their weight. She was awesome at that.

Irene always bounced back after having many health issues and many surgeries. She will now rest peacefully with her husband George of 43 years, her son George, grandson Joey and all her loved ones.

All her family and friends will always remember her kindness and caring.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Howe Mortuary & Crematory located at 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado. A reception will follow the service.
