
Jack was born on May 21, 1944, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Charles A Stevens and Carol Tuck with his sister and brothers. The family moved to Rantoul, Illinois when Jack was a youngster. He was a graduate of the Rantoul Township High School in 1962. Eventually he moved onto attend the University of Illinois.
Jack met and married Karen Brackmeyer in 1963, they remained married until Karen entered into rest in 1965. A few years later he married Mary Wochner in 1969. Together they raised their two wonderful sons. Their beautiful family moved to Longmont in 1973 where they enjoyed their time together.
During Jack’s career he worked as a licensed plumber, electrician, and construction manager for May Department Stores. During his free time, he enjoyed trapshooting and golfing. He also enjoyed being apart of the Captain of Boulder County Sheriff’s Reserves during the 1980’s, he was a life member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Carol, Karen, his sister and brother.
He is survived by his wife Mary, brother Gene (Jill), sons Tim (Karen) and Pat (Tammy), grandchildren Taylor (Jenna) and Mackenzie, along with many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately by the family during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
