He was born in Springfield, OH to Dennis Whalen and Susie Miles (Whalen), but raised in Colorado from the time he was 2 months old.
Jaime enjoyed everything about Colorado. He loved snowboarding, jet-skiing, paddleboarding, biking and camping. He spent his spare time painting, nature scenes mostly. He also had a passion for cooking. He created his own recipes, usually spicy!
He loved karaoke, dancing, and playing his favorite game- Pictionary. His quick-wit and humor entertained us at family gatherings. We have many great memories with him and will miss him so much. He worked at McLane Western for almost 30 years and had created many friendships.
Jaime is survived by his mother, Susie Miles, father, Dennis Whalen, stepfather of 25 years, Thomas Miles, brother, Jeffrey Whalen, his favorite nephew, Dylan Whalen, stepbrother, Bobby Martin and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins, mostly in Ohio.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge in Longmont for his friends and co-workers. (Date and Time to be determined soon). Memorial service will be held in Ohio in September for his family.
