James Anderson 73, of Boulder, CO passed into eternal life August 28, 2020. His family was by his side. He was the son of Frank Anderson and Elsie Clyncke-Anderson of Boulder, CO. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Susan Anderson, and his two children, Jamie Anderson-Flint and Scott Anderson. James graduated from Regis High-school in Denver, and CU Boulder, majoring in geology. He established J. Anderson Jewelry in Boulder where he designed and manufactured hand crafted, fine jewelry for over 4 decades. He was a man of many talents which included being an accomplished pianist and fly-fisherman. He also enjoyed studying mineralogy and paleontology, and was a skilled chess player. During his younger years he developed a profound, lifelong interest in the land homesteaded by his ancestors in Boulder. He learned the value of hard work and applied it to operating his beloved family farm. James was passionate about many things in life, most especially his family and friends. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
