September 12, 1997 - October 26, 2016
“I Love You Man” was a message often heard by Jared’s friends when saying good-bye. He was kind and compassionate and always spoke from the heart, building meaningful relationships
with everyone he met. He had a beautiful smile and warmth about him and always offered a hug
over a hand shake. His eyes reflected a lively spirit that touched us all. Jared’s passion was music, taking drum lessons as a kid and developing into a talented drummer, then forming a band known as Twenty Year. His future was bright; he was taking a gap year and working as an electrician apprentice at MaiCon. Before that he worked at The Niwot Feed store where they loved him like a son. We all miss you and “Love You Man” forever and you will always be in our hearts. See you in heaven.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 5th at 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at
Columbine Unity Spiritual Center, 8900 Arapahoe Road, Boulder, CO 80303
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Bank of the West, made to The Jared Lizakowski Memorial Fund. In keeping with Jared’s passion, the donations will be used for musical education and instruments for kids.
