Jayne Cecilia Jelinek

Jayne Cecilia Jelinek passed away June 21, 2017 at North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, CO. She was 60 years old.Jayne was born on December 13, 1956 in Kenosha, WI to Robert E. Husted and Yvonne M. (Lowe) Husted. She moved to Arvada, CO in 1965 and attended Alameda High School in Lakewood, Colorado. On February 14, 1975 she married Rodney R. Jelinek in Colorado Springs, CO.Jayne was an engineering technician. She worked for StorageTek from 1978-1998 and several other companies including Tecnetics, Pinetree, Fidelity Comtech, Aspen Peripherals and Aztek Engineering, doing PCB and other electronic assembling. Jayne was diagnosed with MS in 1988. In 2002 Jayne's health forced her to take a disability retirement.Jayne enjoyed spending time with her family and outdoor activities including camping and riding ATV's at Taylor Park. Jayne, family and friends loved cabin #7. She also liked going to the casinos in Blackhawk and gambling, she especially likes the Blazing 7's machines. Jayne was also an avid pet lover. She loved all her fur-babies!Jayne is preceded in death by her parents and she is survived by her husband Rod, her daughter Melissa Jelinek; and her sisters Colette Mann and Karrol Knight.Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
