Born on June 4, 1936 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Her parents, Lucy and Arthur Consani moved to the States from Tuscany, Italy. Jean was incredibly beautiful inside and out. She was kind, patient and so loving, not only to her family, but to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her big beautiful smile would light up any room she walked into.
In the 9th grade she was awarded, “Miss Courtesy”! She graduated high school from St. Michael’s, in Flint, in 1954, Summa Cum Laude. She then enjoyed working as the Administrator to the General Manager of the No. 1 Sports/Music radio station locally, for four years. She also worked as an office administrator in Health Care as well as Real Estate over the years. She met the love of her life, Jack, in 1956, who worked for General Motors, and they got married in 1958 at the Holy Redeemer Church in Flint. After having three daughters, Jean and Jack moved to Bethel Park, PA. for 11 years. It was a wonderful place to raise a family.
In September of 1978, Jack was promoted and moved the family to Boulder, Colorado. They made lifelong friends through the Newcomer’s group. Jack enjoyed playing golf and Jean discovered she had a natural swing and even joined the Women’s Par 3 League at Boulder Country Club, surprising herself at how well she could play!
After Jack retired, they both traveled around the world, including New Zealand, Italy, Ireland, France, Alaska, Hawaii and several Caribbean Cruises. Jean loved her flowers, hummingbirds and ice cream!! But what she loved most was spending time with her beloved daughters, son-in-laws, and grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, brother George, sister Eleanor, husband Jack, daughter Laurie, son in law, Tom and nephew Mike.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Jeanne and (Greg), Mary and (Ron), five Grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Tina, Devin and Erin. Three Great Grandchildren, Lucy, Landon and Sophia. Sister in law, Barb. Niece’s Deb, Donna, Amy, and Mary C. As well as nephew’s Gary, Roy and Dan. Jean will always be remembered and celebrated as a beautiful, loving woman who put her family first and lived a beautiful life. She will always be with us and her memory will forever live on in all of our hearts, until we meet again.
