
Jeanne Marie Lytle Beal died October 15, 2012 at her home in Longmont under the care of HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. She was 93 years old.She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio to Mildred (Seavy) and Edward Lytle on July 16, 1919. As a small child her family moved to Oil City, PA and then in her senior year Jeanne moved to Franklin, PA. This is where Jeanne was the happiest and felt at home. She was a Franklinite through and through. This is also where she met and married Joseph G. Beal on April 12, 1940. They raised together a family of five. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.Jeanne worked in the retail business most of her life. She especially enjoyed working at Feldman's in Franklin. She retired from Joslin's in Colorado in 1984.She and J moved to Ph nix in 1971 and lived there for five years and then moved to Louisville, CO in 1976 since that is where all of their children were living. There were many happy times with all the family in Colorado.Jeanne loved reading and playing games with her family and friends, especially cards. She also enjoyed traveling, including a cruise to the Virgin Islands, Hawaii and Australia.Jeanne was very devoted and so very proud of her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter Kay Mervar.Jeanne is survived by four children J Beal of Prescott, AZ, Bobbie Huselton (Jim) of Olive Branch, MS, Dorothy Seely (Walt) of Longmont, CO and Dave Beal (Debbie) of Trout Creek, MT.; seven grandchildren Holly Yarborough, Dan and Cliff Beal, Jason and Dustin Turner, Sarah Williamson and Liz Beal, eleven great grandchildren and son-in-law Chuck Mervar of Longmont.Visitation will be 2-4pm and 6-8pm Friday, Oct. 26 at Huff Funeral Home in Franklin, PA. Funeral services will be 11 am Sat. Oct 27 at Christ United Methodist Church, Franklin. Interment at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry, PA. Memorial contributions to HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties can be sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel
