Jeanne L. Purcell

Jeanne grew up as an only child in Newark, graduating from Clifton High School in Newark and attending Berkeley College in East Orange. She met and married Francis Maynard Purcell, enjoying many years together before his passing. They also had two children – Stephan and Kalei. After Francis’ passing in May of 2015, Jeanne decided to move to Longmont from her previous home in St. Stephen, NB Canada, joining the Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Mead.

During her life, Jeanne worked as a legal secretary for NASA, and with Francis they worked in hospitality together, owning a couple of Holiday Inns. Jeanne was also part of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Sisters, and Sisters of the Heart- Secret Sisters. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and sewing.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents August & Jeanne, her husband Francis, as well as her daughter Kalei in 2021. She is survived by her son Stephan (Susan) Purcell; her grandchildren Jennifer Price, Michelle Anderson, Stephen Purcell; as well as her great-grandchildren Abigail Price, Gannon Price, Clayton Anderson, and Austin Purcell.
