Jeffrey Stephen Lyons

Jeffrey Stephen Lyons of Longmont, Colorado, suddenly yet peacefully passed away in his sleep on Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home. Jeff was 62. Jeffrey was the loving father of Garrett and Brielle Lyons, son of Frank H. Lyons and Betty Miller Lyons Gesner. He was brother to Sally Lyons Ragin and Robert Lyons (deceased) and their spouses, Howard Ragin of Longmont, and Betty Lyons of Naples, FL, and he was cousin to the Miller Family of Longmont.

Originally born in Washington, New Jersey, Jeff moved to Longmont in 1981. After working in various sales positions, Jeff ultimately became President of Analytica, an environmental testing laboratory in Broomfield. In 2005 he joined A-Pro Home Inspection, becoming a Master Inspector and “partner” servicing Longmont and the Front Range.

Jeff was a well loved and respected member and officer of BNI for nearly 10 years. Known best for his friendly smile and positive attitude, those who worked with him found him to have unquestionable integrity, honesty, and one who kept his word. Always hard-working, he didn’t take much time off; yet when he did, he loved fly fishing and mastered tying his own flies. He used to say that the mountains provided him the serenity the ocean once did. He was our “Gentle Giant” and we will dearly miss his big hugs, smiling face, and warm heart.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions there will be no service at this time for anyone other than the immediate family. An outside memorial will be announced when weather permits. His children asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Jeffrey’s memory to:
