Jennifer Leigh Vermette

Jennifer Leigh Vermette, 31, born September 5, 1984 in Colorado Springs, was a bright star, glowing and touching the lives of everyone she met. She was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, painting pictures, photography, and she could even be found singing karaoke. She turned her love of art into a passion for tattooing.

She also enjoyed science and often created projects for her students at The Cottage where she taught. Jennifer was well known for her wit and odd sense of humor. Along with her talents, she had a big heart and helped her friends with anything they needed, benefits, fund raisers, or even a positive word and a smile.

Her memory lives on through her son, Apollo, bright and gifted; her parents Lee and Cecile; her siblings, Glenn, Gail, Susan, and Chris; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a wealth of friends, far too numerous to list.

Jen passed away in her sleep August 22, 2015.

A Celebration of Life will be held through Howe Mortuary, with a viewing Friday, August 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and the Celebration on Saturday, August 29th at 11:00 am.
