Jeremy Preston Longhurst

Longhurst, Jeremy Preston, 38, died unexpectedly on July 31, 2010 at Medical Center of the Rockies hospital in Loveland. Preceding him in death was his dear mother, Leeora Longhurst, and his brothers Joshua Longhurst and Clifford Ruiz. Jeremy is survived by his father, Jerry Longhurst and his stepmother, Lorelei, and his siblings, Debra Buckley, Pamela Longhurst, Wendy and her husband Richard Paredes, Sophie her husband Jason Drost, Jason Longhurst and his wife Tammy, James Longhurst and his wife Mei-Hsiu, Jared Longhurst and his wife Valerie, Christina McFarland, David Zocchi, Suzanne and her husband Monte Bateman, LaRee Sorensen, and Lisa Zocchi. At the time of death he had 32 nieces and nephews.Jeremy was born in San Jose, California January 8, 1972 and lived in Tucson, Arizona before moving with his family to Longmont in 1985. He made his living in construction work and enjoyed doing handyman and car repairs for family and friends. He spent much time fishing but most especially enjoyed being uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Service. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2200 11th Avenue in Longmont. Inurnment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont.
