Jill Alyson Cutler

January 22, 1952November 20, 2020

Jill Alyson Cutler, 68, passed away on November 20th 2020. She is remembered for her creative eye, unwavering strength, and savvy problem solving.

Born in Jackson, Michigan on January 22 1952, Jill spent most of her adolescence in Rocky River, Ohio. After attending Grinnell College, she found home in the American Southwest. Her life brought her to Arizona, California, and family roots in Colorado.

A Marathon Runner, Real Estate Agent, Small Business Owner, Archaeology Student, Recovery Health Counselor, Mother (cats too) and Friend, she took pride in the title "Jill of All Trades." Her fierce, unstoppable spirit was too stubborn to slow down or lose strength. The spirit of this clever, extraordinary pistol of a woman transcended from this life, but is always with us.

Jill is survived by her immediate family, including her brother, Todd Ewalt and children, Alex & Autumn Cutler.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The family is grateful for all compassion and support from the community.

Jill,
One day Jill walked into my office at Keller Williams in Boulder, and said "I think we have something in common"...our boys are in school together. That bonded us as two mothers...Alex and Brendan. Both amazing, but yet different young lads. Not mainstream, but making their way in life, and I think that we both agreed that it was because we both embraced their creativity.

Jill, and then you went on to start two successful resale stores, that I often visited and brought home some awesome purchases, that I still have today.

We will miss you and hope that you are in a wonderful peaceful place.

I know it will be hard for those that loved you, but they can talk to you anytime they want, as I do with my mother that passed.

Jill, I will miss you so much. You meant the world to me and I cherished our friendship over the past 15 plus years. Life defiantly threw us challenges but your sense of humor and quick wit got us through them. Your sense of style and design were truly your gift. I will never forget how you made me feel. Until we meet again dear friend your laughter will be what I remember most. ❤️🙏🏻😇😘

My friend. My neighbor. 20 years is a long time to share a friendship. In all honesty, I could have shared 20 more. What a rich life you had. One adventure after another. I hope this new adventure brings you peace. Love you dearly my friend.
