Jo Anne Enderson

Jo, our beloved mother, joined the Good Lord in Heaven on April 14, 2025. She was born in Kansas on February 23, 1938, and was the youngest of 4 children. Her family moved to Arriba, CO when she was a young child. After graduating High School, she married Merle Enderson. They had 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. They later divorced and never remarried.

She retired from Eastman Kodak (KCD) Company, but worked many different jobs in her career, including farming, waitressing, debeaking turkeys, misc. manufacturing jobs and customer service. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. If you went to visit Jo, you NEVER left her house hungry. Jo also enjoyed helping others, playing games (especially Triominos), working on puzzles, cooking, gardening, traveling, camping, garage selling and keeping a look out for items for her many collections. She also loved animals and was especially fond of dachshunds.

Jo is survived by her children Jo (Larry) Smith of Mead, CO, Billie (Michael) Nahlen of Cody, WY and Robert (Linda) Enderson of Longmont, CO. Her brother Bill (Ardis) Ruebesam of Limon, CO, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, Roxie her beloved dachshund, and many good friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and sister, her daughter Sandee, sons Merlin (Matt) and Mark and a granddaughter Bekey.

A private Celebration of Life will be on April 26, 2025, at the home of her granddaughter, Angela Helburg. Jo has requested that her ashes be planted with a tree.
