
A Denver native, she graduated from South High School in 1948 and attended the University of Colorado. She married Earl P. Fraser Jr. in 1950 and later divorced.
She loved working at the May D&F in University Hills and was also employed by the Denver Public Schools in the Child Find Program. She often played the piano for family, neighbors and assisted living facilities. She was an avid reader of historical fiction, a dedicated Solitaire and crossword solver, and loved her Scrabble games and Bridge Clubs. Well into her ‘80’s, she adored going to her cabin in Alma, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bon and Eleanor Kunse, her brother Bon Kunse, sister Jean Moser and beloved son, Jay P. Fraser. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Martin (Scott) and Joan Schubert (Nick); her son John Fraser (Georgina) and three grandchildren—Laura Martin, Montgomery and Henry Fraser.
A celebration of life service will be held at Bethany Lutheran church in Denver in the spring.
