Joe Sias

Joe was born to his loving parents Sylvia and Elias Sias on May 8, 1960, in Denver, Colorado. He was born into a family with 3 siblings.

From a young age, Joe leaned into his faith and he attended church regularly. He could often be found helping his father at church events. He always stayed busy between his church, traveling, and school events.

Joe graduated from Centennial High School in Pueblo, Colorado. Over his working life, he worked as an overnight stocker at King Soopers, a bakery manager at Safeway, and as Head Milker at Morning Fresh Dairy.

Around 1985 he moved from Pueblo to Longmont. Then in 1990 he moved to Bellevue, Colorado, where he raised his 4 beautiful children on the farm. Eventually, Joe settled in Longmont, where he joined 1ra Iglesia Apostolica de la fe en Cristo Jesús church. He continued to practice his faith until his passing. His family described him as a wonderful dad, a great listener, and very attentive to their needs. He was also a caring friend with a relaxed personality, and very easy to talk to. He was always ready for outings, as well as an active member in different sports such as basketball and football. He always attended games, events, and concerts that his grandchildren invited their “Papo” to.

Joe is preceded in death by his father Elias Sias and his brother Juanito Sias.

He is survived by his mom, Sylvia Sias, his children: Christopher and Kaera Sias, Serena and CJ Earhart, Shannon and Tracie, his siblings: Lupe and Ike Hasenauer and Margaret Sias, his grandchildren: Hunter, Konstance, Lilah, and Zekhi Sias, Emma and Cooper Earhart, and Joey and Haily Barger, along with other relatives: Nicole and Vincente Lopez, Annette, Dominic, Leif and Cambria Benintende, and Alexis, Leonel and Valeria Montes.

Joe’s Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1ra Iglesia Apostolica de la fe en Cristo Jesús church located at 1500 9th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501 at 11:00 AM.

Joe will be deeply missed by the many family and friends he leaves behind.
