Jon "Evan" Bengston

Jon "Evan" Bengston, 41 of Longmont, Colorado passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025 from a rare neurological disease. He was born on November 28, 1983 in Boulder, CO to John and Joanie Bengston. He attended Niwot High School and Colorado State University. After finishing College, Evan founded Pinion Construction, a general contracting company.

Evan loved fishing, golfing, baseball and really all sports either as a participant or spectator. Another great passion was music and especially going to concerts. Refurbishing and driving his Cadillacs was a major love and especially installing sound systems that could be heard a mile away. He even shattered a rear window with the pounding of his subwoofers.

He was a cherished son and best friend. He will be greatly missed by his father, John Bengston of Longmont, CO. and aunt Beverly Bengston of Belvidere, IL. Evan was predeceased by his mother Joanie Bengston.

Cremation is entrusted to Howe Mortuary & Crematory of Longmont, Colorado.
