Joshua David Heinrich was born in Denver on July the 5th,1975 to Michael J and Margaret A. (Lehl) Heinrich. Joshua had a loving, caring heart which gave out on him on June 2nd, 2024. His life consisted of many disabilities and health problems all his life. Joshua received his GED with Honors from the University of Colorado Adult Education Program in 2006 at the age of 31.
Booker T. Washington said ‘’Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in his life as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome while trying to succeed.” Joshua overcame many obstacles in his life. Joshua loved to cook. He worked at BJ’S Brewhouse in Boulder until 2020 when he had to go on 24-hour oxygen. He also loved to go fishing and camping in the mountains, and shopping at the thrift stores. He was always bringing home a bargain.
Joshua is survived by his children. Kyle Heinrich. Austin Spieker and Desteni Heinrich, and their mother Kathi Jo Heinrich. His father preceded him to Heaven and his mother, Margaret Heinrich was his caregiver the last two years. He is also survived by his brothers Mike Heinrich Jr (wife Mary) and Robert Heinrich, and his sister Heidi Heinrich. Joshua also had one grandchild. Numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the family and sent to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel or to 2622 Danbury Drive, Longmont, CO, 80503 to help his children offset funeral expenses.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Joshua’s Birthday, Friday July 5th, 2024 at 5:30pm at 2622 Danbury Drive, Longmont CO, 80503.
