Joyce was born on September 25, 1937, to Harry Chick and Minnie Hansen in Kansas. She was raised in Loveland, Colorado, where she graduated from Loveland High School.
In 1957, Joyce married the love of her life, Fred Adams. In 1963, they moved to the Longmont area, where they spent many years together until Fred’s passing in 2020.
Joyce was a longtime member of Longmont United Methodist Church. She found happiness in painting, traveling, and especially in spending time with her family. She also enjoyed staying active at the Longmont Recreation Center, but never turned down a good box of wine!
She is survived by her sons, Brad (Cindy) Adams, Randy Adams, and Brian (Kathi) Adams; her grandchildren, Sarah, Brandon, Kelsey, Christian, Olivia, Blake, Braeden, and Erin; and her great-grandchildren, Royce, Jesse, and Riley.
