Joyce Rose Taylor

Joyce Rose Taylor, 86, of Loveland, CO passed away February 10, 2015. Joyce was born on February 13, 1928 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Matthew and Rose (Lowe) Duncan.Joyce grew up in Canada and married Gerald Taylor on May 6, 1948 in Winnipeg. They moved to the Longmont area in 1965. Joyce managed the Gold Key Travel Agency in Louisville, CO. Joyce was a volunteer with the Pink Ladies at Longmont United Hospital. She was an excellent seamstress and loved working with crafts and crocheting.Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.Joyce was survived by her husband Gerald, who passed away 16 days later on February 26, 2015. She is also survived by her son Larry Taylor (Peggy), daughters Janet Taylor, Karen Lanter and Laura Baur (Les), 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.A memorial service celebrating the lives of both Joyce and Gerald will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
