Kathleen A. Nimark

Kathleen A. Nimark, 69, of Longmont passed away March 10, 2019 at Longmont United Hospital.She was born May 15, 1949 in Flushing, New York to John and Ann (Benson) Sharp. Kathleen grew up primarily in New York and Anchorage, Alaska where she lived while her father served in the armed forces. Kathleen spent her working career as an administrative assistant for many different businesses. In 1993 she moved to Longmont from Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn, NY. when the chiropractor she worked for came to Colorado for a visit and then moved his practice to Boulder. She also worked for 7-11, Subway, Valley Lab and in 1993 as a customer sales associate at Walmart. Her health required her to retire in 2006.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the Church, had a strong faith and was of service in caring for missionaries.Kathleen enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Black Hawk to play the slot machines, gardening, crocheting and needle point. She was a fan of the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Avalanche. Kathleen loved dogs and cats.She is survived by her daughter Jackie Roberts (Sean) and son James Nimark; three grandchildren Nicole Nalbach, Dylan Robers and Sean Roberts, Jr. and one great grandchild on the way.A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday March 16, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, 1721 Red Cloud Road, Longmont.
