

He was born to Vada (Grabowski) and Chester Mallett March 1, 1924, in Downing, Missouri.
His family moved to Northern Colorado when Ken was 3 months old. Ken and his six siblings were raised in Wellington Colorado.
After graduation, Ken joined the US Navy in WWII. When the war was over he entered the University of Colorado in Boulder and earned an electrical engineering degree.
He married Frances Doran in 1946. They had two children, Steven in 1950 (later passing away in 1990) and Janet was born in 1954.
Ken worked for several large companies through the years and moved from coast to coast, the last being in Falls Church, Virginia where he represented his company at the Navy’s Defense Department. He retired in 1985, at which point he and Fran moved back to Colorado and settled in the Longmont and Hygiene area.
They moved to Kalispell Montana in 2007 to be near their daughter Janet and her husband P.C. Musgrove. Also, to be closer to their grandchildren Kari Musgrove (who lives in Kalispell), Tiffany Musgrove (who lives in Portland OR) and Josh and Jenny Musgrove (who live in New Orleans with their son Jude, Ken’s Great Grandson).
Ken is survived by a brother in Arizona, Charles Mallett, a brother and two sisters in Colorado Donald, Maxine and Dorothy. There are many nieces and nephews also who reside in Colorado.
There will be a gathering on May 27, 2016 at 2PM at the Hygiene Cemetery
