

after along and courageous battle. Kenneth was born in Longmont, Colorado on October 5, 1954, to
Edward and Anna Marie (Brady) Olson. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Catholic
Church in Longmont. Kenneth attended Longmont High School and Boulder TEC where he pursued
his youthful passion as an automotive mechanic. Soon being a mechanic, became a hobby while
he found his true gift was construction. He became an accomplished drywaller and finish
carpenter before settling on a career in building fine furniture in two of Longmont’s most notable
furniture manufacturers, Nuline Furniture and Woodley’s Furniture. Kenneth took great pride in
lovingly raising his two children, Marcy and Brandon (BJ) as a single father. His second joy, which he
constantly gushed about, was his granddaughter, Keaira. Kenneth is survived by his son Brandon
(BJ) Olson, daughter Marcy Olson, granddaughter Keaira Madrid, twin brother Keith Olson and
Keith’s wife Valerie and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kristy Mattern and Kathy Lind, brother Kelly Olson and
niece Danielle Shields and nephew Brian Lind
