Kenneth Aulden Powell

He was born February 9, 1942 in Alexandria, Virgina to Luther and Leona (Mitchell) Powell. After high school he married Roxanne Seacrest on December 28, 1962 in Boulder. They would own and run the Powel'ls Exxon on South Boulder Road for many years. They would later move to Longmont to be closer to his children and grandchidren. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, fishing, maintaining his home, and working on and restoring classic cars. He was very proud of his 1959 Ford, which he restored and kept in pristine condition.

He is survived by his wife, Roxanne of Longmont; three sons, Chris, Keith and Kent Powell of Longmont; and one daughter, Karen Edwards (Craig) of Longmont; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Church, 2101 Gay St. in Longmont. (Service was postponed due to Roxanne's health)
