
Santa's sleigh carried an extra passenger early Christmas morning, when Kevin Montgomery Hart left this world. His community in Colorado knew him as the engineer and host of a dazzling display of Christmas lights. His family and friends knew him as a big teddy bear of a man with an even bigger heart.Fittingly, he was born on another holiday celebrating love “ Valentine's Day 1963. He lived his life to the fullest, including favorite activities like scuba diving, vintage boat racing, and cooking. Kevin also thoroughly enjoyed his long, successful career with IBM.Those privileged to have enjoyed a close relationship with Kevin, and who miss him dearly, include his loving partner of many years, Kimberly Weibert; his daughter, Canadice Hart; grandchildren Zachary Raner and Laila Hart; father Marvin Hart; siblings Kim Powell and her husband, Duane, and Kyle Hart and his wife, Johanna; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends.There will be memorial services for Kevin this week in the Broomfield area and next summer at Round Island on the St. Lawrence River in Clayton, NY.The family invites anyone who wishes to join them to stop by 1188 Clubhouse Drive to enjoy the Christmas lights display and a cup of cocoa from 6 to 8 p.m. this Friday and Saturday (Dec. 31st and Jan. 1st).On Sunday, January 2nd at 4 p.m., there will be a celebration of Kevin's life for family and friends at The Butterfly Pavilion, 6252 W. 104th Ave. Westminster, CO.
