

Laurel June Keagle, passed away on December 28, 2021 in Brighton, CO, she was 94. Laurel was born on January 25, 1927 in Barnum, Minnesota, to John Rudebeck & Emily Nelson. Laurel attended Barnum High School, were she played in 1st chair clarinet in the school band. Laurel resided in Barnum, MN, until marriage. Laurel married Keith G. Keagle on October 20, 1945, in Topeka, Kansas. She was the manager of The Americana Shop in Northglenn, CO. Laurel was a Christian, who in her spare time enjoyed reading; playing bingo, going to casinos, Laurel enjoyed site seeing and traveling when she was able, but most of all she loved her family gatherings. Laurel is survived by her son, David Keagle of Johnstown, CO; Daughter Carol (Rich) Strong of Brighton, CO; Daughter Cheryl (Kevin) Keagle-Bumby of Farmington, NM and Brighton, CO; Daughter Angela (Rich) Derr of Hot Springs, South Dakota. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband Keith Keagle, her parents John & Emily Rudebeck; a brother Melvin (Barla) Rudebeck; sisters, Melba(Ed) Stevens; Iola Rudebck; and Mavis Rudebeck, and grandson Terry Blaski. There will be a celebration of life service on January 19, 2022, at 2pm, at The First United Methodist Church; 820 9th St, Berthoud,Co, 80513
