Lawrence Edward Conway

The angels welcomed Lawrence Edward Conway November 7th, 2023, at the age of 88. He was known as Larry and “Buff” for all who knew him. He lived in rural Longmont since 1968. After 55 years in the house they built, he and his wife of 63 years.

He is survived by wife, Carol Elizabeth Conway; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Kemper; Kathleen Mae Conway-Thompson; Marilyn Louse Brown; and Maureen Frances Conway. His kitty Netty Bo Betty misses him too.

Larry was a veteran of the Navy and served aboard the USS Ranger during the late 50’s where he studied to be an electrician. He met Carol in 1959 and married in 1960. Larry was an over the road truck driver and saw most of the United States from the semi. At home, he raised cows, pigs, rabbits, chickens and took care of an immense hobby garden. He was full of joy and a quick joke and was loved by many a friend.

Services to be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St, Longmont CO on December 1st at 10am.
