Leanne Marie Mares, of Fort Collins, died February 7, 2018 at Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO. She was born August 25, 1968 in Riverside, CA. the daughter of Terry Duane and Wanda (Lederer) Hummel. She attended Skyline High School and the 7th Day Adventist Church in Boulder. Leanne married Daniel Mares on October 4, 1991 in Longmont, CO.
Leanne is survived by his husband Daniel of Fort Collins, CO and her children Anthony Mares of Fort Collins, Tiffany Mares of Fort Collins, Joey Mares of Longmont, Jessica Alicea of Flagstaff, AZ and Joshua Alicea also of Flagstaff, AZ. She is further survived by 6 grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her brother Larry Paul Hummel.
The family is asking for donations to help with the funeral costs in lieu of flowers.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm on Tuesday, February 20 at the Howe Mortuary in Longmont. Services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 21 also at Howe Mortuary. Services will conclude at the Mortuary.
