Leonard Richard Casias

He was born September 20, 1949 in Walsenburg, CO to Raynaldo and Loretta Casias. On August 12, 1967 he married Patricia Casias in Loveland, CO the couple moved to Longmont, CO to make their home and raise their children.

Leonard is survived by his 6 kids Leonard Casias and Rochelle of Longmont, CO, Brian Casias of Thorton, CO, Donna and Jeff Guerra of Longmont, CO, Troy and Milissa Casias of Tucson, AZ, Julie and Tony Gonzales of Longmont, CO, Carol Casias of Longmont, CO. Numerous grand children Alicia Casias, Leonard Casias III, Anthony Casias, Troy Casias Jr, Mia Casias, Anthony Patrick Gonzales, Antonia Quick, Tatiana Cautiverio and Abigail Wyatt.

He is further survived by his sisters Geri Cruz of Greeley, CO, Rena and Larry Mata of Longmont, CO, Joyce and Jesus Garcia of Longmont, CO.

Leonard was proceeded in death by his wife Patricia Casias, his parents Raynaldo and Loretta Casias, brothers Robert Casias, Henry Casias, Leroy Casias and sister Nancy Bustillos.

Leonard worked at the City of Longmont for 33 years from 1970 until he retired in 2003. Leonard's hobbies were trips to Central City and Black Hawk to gamble. He also loved to play horseshoes, cornhole, and card games for money. Also loved to do yard work and trim his rose bushes. He loved to do anything that involved hanging out with his children and grandchildren. He was was a big Denver Broncos fan and loved sitting on the kitchen table in the mornings drinking his coffee. He would often watch the neighbors walk by and wave at him.

Services will be private due to Covid rules and regulations.
