Leslie Glenn Laybourne

Leslie Glenn ˜Les' Laybourne formerly of Yucaipa, CA died August 21, 2011 at his home in Longmont, CO. He was 77.He was born June 25, 1934 in Oakland, CA to Glenn Russell and Lillian Rose (Hunt) Laybourne. He attended the United Methodist Church of Yucaipa. Les was an avid fishermen and woodcarver. He was a member of the Woodcarvers Association in Yucaipa for sixteen years. He is remembered as a wonderful Uncle and Sunday School teacher by his family. Always needing to keep busy, he volunteered at the San Bernardino County Museum at Redlands and the Better Business Bureau.Les is survived by his loving wife, Midge Laybourne of Longmont, daughters Leslie Taber (Tim) of Longmont and Robin Cavoretto (John) of Tigard, OR, step-son Jan Currie (Kathe) of Buena Park, CA, step-daughter Donna Bristol (Rich) of Evergreen, brother Carl Edward Laybourne (Cynthia) of Orange, CA, five grandchildren Ben Taber, Ryan Taber, Chris Cavoretto, Kristopher Currie, and Sara Currie and three great grandchildren Owen Charles Taber, Van Carter, and Sean Currie.Private family services will be held.
