Lidija Spade

Lidija Spade of Longmont died July 6, 2011 at Life Care Center of Longmont. She was 89 years old.Lidija was born on November 4, 1921 in Liepāja, Latvia, the daughter of Martin and Stacey Tiliks. She grew up in Latvia and came to America during World War II. She was formerly married to Juris Spade. Lidija moved to Longmont in 2003 from Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.She is survived by her daughters, Mara Spade and Bernadette Spade; her grandchildren, Darah Brush (Richard) and Aion Velie; her great-grandchildren, Kenna, Bauman and Cade Brush and Dylan Velie and her sister-in-law Ines Silins. Lidija is preceded in death by her parents.Lidija's family would like to thank the Phillips family for their devoted care and attention to Lidija in her final days. A visitation will be held from 10:00 “ 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
