Linda Gabrielson (Barlow)

Linda was born January 17, 1949, in Charles City, IA, the daughter of Harold and Helen Barlow.

Linda grew up in Iowa, graduating from Charles City High School in 1968. She later moved to Rapid City, S.D., where she was a manager at Sears. It was in Rapid City that Linda met her beloved Wayne. They moved to Loveland, CO., in 1979 and were married on October 11, 1980.

Linda was a successful lumber salesman for the last 30 years with many loyal customers, who knew they could trust and depend on her. She received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Front Range Community College in 1994. She was on the Board of Directors of the Northern Colorado Home Builders Association. She was a member of the Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Niwot.

Linda loved landscaping their home in Niwot, decorating, fishing and riding motorcycles with Wayne.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Barlow, and an infant brother, Richard Barlow.

Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years, Wayne Gabrielson, and their dog, Willie-Boy; her brother Garry Barlow (Debra), Nashua, IA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010, at the Rocky Mountain Christian Church, 95th Street and Niwot Road, Niwot, CO., with a time for fellowship immediately following.

Cremation was entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Creation Services.
