Linda Joanne Croucher, 82, passed away on July 24 in Longmont, Colorado, where she had made her home since 1987. Born on October 9, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland, Linda attended business college before moving to Colorado in 1962 — where she soon met Bill, who would become her husband of 62 years.
Throughout her life, she traveled to 37 countries across five continents. Her adventures took her to Africa twice, where she delighted in watching wildlife on safari and spending time with the elephants. She also enjoyed multiple trips to Hawaii and Europe, along with cruises to Australia, New Zealand, the Baltic, the Mediterranean, and to Asia, where she had the unforgettable experience of holding a panda in China. Closer to home, she enjoyed spending time with her many friends and played bridge and mahjong weekly along with participating in Questers.
She is survived by her husband; her two daughters, Laura (Mike) and Suzan (Ken); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her younger brother. A memorial service is being planned for this fall. Details will be announced when available. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to TRU Community Care at trucare.org/donate-to-tru
