Linda Lee Kruzik

Linda Lee Kruzik of Longmont, Colorado died December 15, 2008 at the HospiceCare Center in Louisville. She was 55.Linda was born on March 12, 1953, in Hibbing, Minnesota to Clifford Bode and Edna Hagsten Bode. Linda graduated from Longmont High School in 1972. Following graduation, she helped manage the Village Inn Restaurant for a number of years. She later worked as a receiving clerk at Neodata, and also as a cashier at La Cocina. Most recently she had worked in the nursing field, as a home health care nurse. She thoroughly enjoyed this position and caring for the elderly. She had also volunteered for both the Senior Center and Meals on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her father, and by two infant sons. Surviving are her mother, Edna Tilson; two sisters, Edwina Jivery, and Mary Floyd and her husband, Jeff; two brothers, Bill Bode and Calvin Bode; her husband, Alan Kruzik, all of Longmont; and many nieces and nephews.A cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services, Longmont.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 19 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel, Longmont.In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to Longmont Meals on Wheels, Inc., 910 Longs Peak Ave., Longmont, CO 80501, or the Linda Kruzik Memorial Fund, c/o Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman St., Longmont, CO 80501.Please share thoughts, memories and condolences with the family at www.howemortuary.com.
