Lisa Ann Boyer was born on April 19th, 1968 in Longmont, Colorado. She was a beautiful, vibrant woman full of joy and gratitude. Sadly, she left us too soon and passed away on July 10th, 2025 at the age of 57 years old.
Lisa had a rewarding career as a nurse for over 30 years. She graduated from Boulder Valley Vocational Technical School in 1991 and began working at Life Care Center in Longmont, post graduation. Her nursing career was in long term care. She was very blessed to have the God given talent to take care of other people and meet them where they were at. She treated others the way she wanted to be treated, with love and compassion. She had the pleasure of working with hard working ‘old school’ nurses that loved and cared for residents. She’ll never forget the residents she helped, especially the ones who made her laugh. Lisa was on the frontlines during Covid. She was a hard worker and an angel to those in need.
Lisa loved to travel and her travels took her around the world including Germany, England, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Hawaii, Florida, California, Utah, Missouri, etc. She traveled to Europe with her sisters and later on to visit her kids who were stationed there. She loved exploring new places, visiting museums, beaches and mountains.
Lisa raised three wonderful children- Vincent, Felicia and Corinna. She made time for her kids and enjoyed taking trips to visit her daughter in Colorado Springs for the weekend and traveling to see her children abroad or in different states. She was loving and generous, often spoiling her grandchildren with presents and love.
Lisa was a devoted wife to her husband Todd, who she was married to for 19 years. They shared three cats that she loved very much- Mika, Naomi and Buddy. She was a wonderful stepmother to her step-son Brandon. Lisa was playful, she enjoyed joking, laughing, and not taking life too seriously.
Lisa had a passion for interior design and had a good eye for design and decorating. She made every home she lived in beautiful with her eclectic style. She also loved gardening and had a beautiful garden that brought her much joy and was a fun hobby. She loved reading books, watching good movies, enjoying delicious meals, monthly massages, and shopping.
Lisa was adventurous, she loved riding her bike around Longmont, swimming at Boyd Lake especially when her kids were little and even weeks before she passed. As a teenager Lisa and her siblings loved tire tubing down the river in Lyons, Colorado. She enjoyed hiking, walking around lakes and being in nature. She also loved going to concerts and enjoying live music.
Since 2019, for six years, Lisa sponsored a girl named Peace from Uganda beginning when she was eight years old, through Prepare the Way Ministry. She talked often about wanting to adopt Peace. Lisa was a faithful Christian woman who enjoyed church and her connection with the Lord her entire life.
Lisa stated “I lived my purpose being a mom, wife, daughter, sister and nurse since 1991, 34 years. I’ve been blessed with a wonderful life and awesome children.”
Lisa lived a wonderful life. Though she left us too soon, she will always be in our hearts and forever missed.
